Abby was born and raised in Arlington, Virginia, and growing up, she always dreamed of attending an SEC school. Once she visited the University of Kentucky, she knew it was the perfect fit. Meanwhile, Ryan, a lifelong UK fan from Louisville, always envisioned himself as a Wildcat. Their paths first crossed in Lexington during their freshman year, where they connected through Greek life and mutual friends.

Towards the end of the second semester of their freshman year, Abby and Ryan started dating and quickly became inseparable. From college formals to game days, their relationship grew stronger as they created lasting memories and enjoyed every moment together. As college sweethearts, they built a foundation that would last well beyond their time at UK.

After graduating from UK in 2020, life took them in different directions. Abby stayed in Lexington where she began her career, while Ryan returned to Louisville to start his. Despite the challenges of long distance, Abby and Ryan never missed a chance to visit each other, spending countless weekends traveling between Lexington and Louisville.

Abby eventually joined Ryan and made the move to Louisville, and the two settled into life there with their goldendoodle, Lexi. Ryan proposed in the backyard of their house, just the two of them, with Lexi by their side! After over seven years together, Abby and Ryan are excited to get married and celebrate the next chapter of their lives with family and friends this September!
